Bit average ... 🙄🙄🙄

Who said he wasn’t worth 3 first rounders? It might be 4 by the end of the year

Even if he doesn’t do much else this game, he’s definitely going to cost more than a Mars bar and a pack of chips. That boat has sailed.

It’d take a miracle

On the bright side we might be able to secure him a nice payrise.

Petracca is already showing that we should have told GC Suns to get fkd, and shouldn’t have budged unless we got Humphrey and picks.

Petracca is making a mockery of Geelong.

I think the true strategy is finally taking shape.

Petracca's contract plus putting the pressure on to bump up Humpty's contract. Just that little too much salary cap squeeze.

Ben King free agent.

4D chess being played here.

In fairness Geelong are playing like a genuinely bottom 3 team.

This is the softest performance i have seen from them in a very long time.

This is ehat life after Dangerfield and Cameron looks like..

Let’s be honest, trac is probably telling Humphrey how rubbish Melbourne is and he won’t come to us. [censored] joke

Nah, not sure of that.

I don’t think we get him, but I don’t think it’s Petracca’s doing.

Humphrey has a lot of connection to Melbourne. Trac left because it was bad for him, but it’s quite evident they have made significant change since.

He would speak to his connections and if he doesn’t come to us, he’s probably going to a club with more coin and higher chance of a flag (Victorian club).

He could just ask his best mate who actually plays for us.

Petracca might have the rewards but he ain’t that player anymore. I’ll watch with interest this year. I reckon we were more than well paid for him.

Are you watching the GC17 game?@Roost it far

Exactly everything mentioned, we missed our chance on B.Humphries.

Berry? It was a stretch at Adam’s.

He has played competitive basketball at College level Roost it far, his old man is a High Performance Manager and both brothers are involved in sport at a reasonable level in the US. He’s probably the most competitive Cat B that we have taken on board, we will soon find out and I wouldn’t write of Jed Adam's, 196cm running back who has good disposal skills.

I think you’re right we had a crack at BH and missed, he was contracted and they held him to his contract. We need to go hard at the 26 Draft use up our ‘27 1st round pick as well as out two first rounders, set ourselves up for ‘27-28.

Adams will get delisted by end of the year.

He isnt much chop DZ. Got torn apart by an 18 year old VFL player only a few weeks back.

If Adams is playing it means we are injury depleted down back.

The irrational side of me 100% agrees with this.

Kind of feels like GC got their cake (Trac) and got to eat it too (retaining Humphrey)

Would’ve been interesting to see who blinked first. Think GC would’ve walked away honestly.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
