Trueeeeee. Meanwhile Maynard murders six Brisbane players with a hammer on the field but thereโ€™s no explicitly specific rule against that so he plays.

Hard to see Michael Christian not suspending an oppo player if the Pies win tomorrow though.

I thought his right arm was released before he hit the ground but not in time for him to pull it free therefore he landed on it as though it was pinned.

I donโ€™t diasagree, but Iโ€™m curious to see how HQ / MRO will handle this especially if Pies get through.

Jack Henry playing with one leg. No Stewart.

Geelong are more cooked than Dangerโ€™s bench side kebab.

Itโ€™s outcome based isnโ€™t it? Someone is concussed, someone must be guilty. Thatโ€™s what happened to May.

Ladies and gentlemen you have your first grand finalist for 2025.

Depends on what one โ€˜couldโ€™ and โ€˜shouldโ€™ do and know. Brilliantly subjective metrics.

Cue the biomechanist! This is a wet dream scenario for SEN and Hutchy.

Suspension would dependent on if the Filth get thru.

The fact that weโ€™re discussing a possible suspension that hinges on the outcome of another game (tomorrow night), tells you how corrupt the MRO system is.

Jack Martin zZERO possesions in Half of footy what a Joke of a player, Stengle not much better

Gonna be a wet second half. Reckon thatโ€™ll suit Hawks more.

How the ball is going straight is beyond me, Iโ€™m trying to figure which little piggy built my house because it may not be standing tomorrow morning with this wind.

Has to get suspended. Pinned both arms and drive his into ground. Resulted in concussion

Stewart misses a potential GF so Chol should

An easy call to suspend Chol. Text book dangerous tackle. Meanwhile - no free kick for it!

Then all of a sudden..

Mitch Lewis has been dropped this year

Can we get in his ear with a big deal?

I know some on here think tall fwds aren't that important these days but I disagree. No coincidence the top teams have all the best ones

1st quarter - Geelong shaky and nervous

2nd quarter - Hawks shaky and nervous.

Great game of footy now. The Cats runners and deliverers are starting to dominate.

Biggest waste of talent I've been in the game. Was rated higher than Hogan at 18yo

Sure about that?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert. ย This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coachโ€™s showdownย pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% winย rate)ย againstย hisย protรฉgรฉ Daisy Pearce (16ย games,ย 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisyโ€™s record doesnโ€™t yet reflect her impact โ€” but sheโ€™s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Daisโ€™ย isย mythic. ย Likeย Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill herย (sporting metaphor) orย be her. ย Toothersย Daisy Pearceย isย a role model,ย someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chancesโ€”plenty of themโ€”but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Portโ€™s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
