I truely don’t understand the Lever in Tmac out selection. If it goes poorly we could cough up a loss here when we should win. Kolt’s form yesterday at Preston suggests that his demotion was necessary, I will put that down as a positive. Dees by 8 points.

tmac didnt play in the vfl, smells like a manage to me, not sure why they've put omitted

So sharp is our sub.

Would have made fritsch sub again. He needs to know he can't coast through games.

Gosh after a week of playing vfl he's back in & after a week of being sub he gets to start.

I'll be watching his first quarter effort sharply

Looking forward to lots of colourful posts. According to locals Pattaya has slowed up in recent years so it's great that you two are back to boost the local economy.

Enjoy yourselves

Yeah but he needs to do that across all quarters. He would have been annoyed & wanted to prove a point. Lets see how he starts

We should get a decent crowd. Especially coming off a great win last week, tracs 200th & perfect weather.

Less than 40k would be disappointing.

How come Sydney don't play or seem to have an aboriginal name?

Our biggest state & it's history surely must have one

Ditto for the Filth and has anyone ever seen their away jumper?

Melbourne-based Swans supporters make us look like an incredibly blue collar team by comparison. They’re next level posh.

Like the city itself, it's all a ruse.

Agree. Narrm v Warrane

The traditional Aboriginal name for Sydney is Warrane. The Gadigal people, who were the traditional custodians of this land, lived on the southern shore of the area around Port Jackson. Additionally, the Eora Nation encompassed a larger area, including Sydney. The name "Warrane" is also associated with the Eora language.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
