Don't forget Kalani has two younger brothers and there are some more father sons possibly coming along like Flash's son, the President's son Oliver, Archie son of Peter, Tex Robertson son of the ground announcer, Tigga son of Trapper, Max son of Jnr's brother and others.

All in time for them to change the FD rules 🤯 🤣

I hope the intel is true and that Judd stays - he’s an important part of that next young core coming through

On his position - I can see it both ways

He was extremely poor in the last round of 2024 when he went into the middle and I don’t think he has the frame to be a CBA midfielder

But equally he’s wasted locking down small and medium forwards each week

I think the coaches need to be flexible with him and try to find the balance between letting him use his kicking skills up the ground, but still making sure he’s getting the ball and impacting (and not getting caught in no man’s land like in that game last year)

Yeah because Dacios has such big body for a midfielder...

Daicos is actually pretty well built for his size - reckon Judd is a fair bit more rangy

Regardless I take your point - if you’re good enough it doesn’t matter what size you are

Goody sounded pretty confident in his presser that the deal will get done - I guess we should expect no other response to the question he got...saying "we knew Judd would take time before re-signing".

Next cab off the rank… Riv. I was told today to expect rumours to start swirling about Riv wanting to go home. Wholly media-driven. 🙄 They’ll exhaust the supply of WA boys eventually and have to come up with something else.

Tex Robertson son of ground announcer! What a bizarre way of describing Russel Robertson.

How pathetic. Drives me nuts - you hardly hear it about any other club.

We are an easy target.

Best to steer away from the media in general.

Trying to be a little cryptic and humorous.

Guess it didn’t work for everyone .

HE’S NOT UP IN THE AIR!!

Why is this so hard to believe???!!

He is not leaving the MFC. He is committed to being a Demon. HE never considered going back to WA, or anywhere for that matter. He’s over the “fake rumours” in the media, He and Lily, his girlfriend, love living in Melbourne and don’t wanna live anywhere else. His manager is doing what managers get paid to do. The point is… HE IS STAYING WITH THE DEMONS.

Rest Ghosty, saying it more than once won’t convince those who don’t think you’re right!

Gee's,I hope your right GW,otherwise the old egg on your face trick.id be more worried about Rivers,JVR,Woey and Bill Laurie not getting a opportunity.anyway well just have to wait and see

Rivers ans JVR are both contracted.

Woey and Laurie are fringes and would be no loss whatsoever. For some unknown reason Goodwin clearly doesnt rate Laurie. I think Woewodin is most likely a delisted at the end of the year.

The hope for their own sake is they get opportunities elsewhere, but i highly doubt it.

Woey might find opportunities out west .

Laurie might have been watched over the season . He might fit another team better. As you suggest no 'love' from Goody.

🤞 the above mentioned are of similar spawn to Mr Ablett snr and Mr Ashcroft.

They can request out all they want. The club won't be letting them go.

I wonder if some of the noise from Tom Morris is the club flushing out our obvious leaks? He has had some howlers recently;

  • Tracs inspirational speech that didn't happen.

  • Kozzie to request a trade.

  • Lever unhappy and gettable.

  • Now Juddy looking to leave,

After the mega contracts we've given out, I'd hope this isn't a 'we'll see what's left for you Judd' situation.

The mega-contracts have turned out to be millstones.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
