I’m glad we took our chance when we had it because flags are bloody hard to win.

100%

Our previous 2 GF’s we were never in them. At least we went all the way when we had our time at the top (however brief it was).

We dominated 2021 and when the going got tough, we were brave enough to get going.

Swans seemingly satisfied with just making a GF.

Grundy the leading disposals.

That's a worry.

This game was here for the Swans taking

This isn't 22 for them.

They have dominated all year but they have given this away.

Their lack of pressure that second quarter was a disgrace

Just didn't turn up for 30 mins.

This will scar them for a long time.

And rightly so.

Was going for the Swans but after that...they don't deserve any support.

Losers.

Lions will win by 100.

Grundy being exposed. One trick pony (blocking opposition ruckman at centre bounce). Time for him to grow a pair, jump and tap the ball to the advantage of Sydney's gun midfielders. Grundy's centre bounce tactic playing right into Brisbane's hands.

Grundy has been so disappointing

Although he is doing a lot of ground work and follow up, in his main role he is being beaten by Fort.

Been Swans best player

OK around the ground. Liability at centre bounces. There will be no bang, bang, bang if he keeps just blocking the opposition ruckman!

Has he had a hitout to advantage yet?

Just saying that Swans have so many others to blame before him.

Exactly, getting his taps but completely exposed by Fort.

Has butchered it constantly as well

Dominated is a bit of a furphy. They took their chances. Let’s not forget they got thumped by 100+ points just over a month ago.

expected more at this opening from he swans.  Repeat of 2022 for them.

Worse.

On the form all year they were favorites for most.

Weakest effort from so many of them.

Can't see them shaking this off for a long time.

Forget the colliwobbles.

#Sydneysuckers.

Yes and no. He was brought in to give them the difference in games like this. It's not happening and he's not performaning at the level you would pay a million bucks for on the big stage.

Florent and Gulden have been woeful. Absolutely unaccountable performances

    TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
