World Cup qualifier ... in Brisbane ... Socceroos 0 - Bahrain 1.

Appalling/clueless performance by Socceroos.

Good. Until we fail to make the world cup the powers that be won't do the full review and implement the changes needed at grass roots. 1500 odd bucks for 12yos to play? Looooolllll

Port never fail to disappoint. Come home Butters, your talent is wasted there.

Butters has 7 touches

He has been pathetic

Port Adelaide are the most flakiest and pathetic football club known to man, woman, dog, bird, and the third kind.

How anyone can trust this club to deliver the goods in the big moment or even deliver their grocery shopping to their address is completely beyond me.

Disgraceful effort from a club with a cream puff centre.

Cats seem to find players attract free agents eg Cameron vs Our club who trade in players who are all playing at Casey & struggling to hang onto our best player Trac go figure, yeah all good at our club!

Cats

1- smart recruiting from other teams

Dangerfield

Cameron

Tuohy

Stanley

Stengle

Bruhn

2- role players brought in

Mannagh

Humphries

3- speed and skill through the contest and through the corridor

4- second and third efforts

5- Dangerfield is still a star

6- defenders play defence … forwards play forward… mids are mids.
7- come home factor- Bruhn, Henry,

8- development. Zac Guthrie.  Dempsey.  Stewart. Atkins

9- the Geelong throw = handball

10- small forwards. Stengle. Miers. Close.  Score goals !!!

There's no national indoor (with proper stadiums) futsal comp to teach the juniors and young teens superb first touch ball comtrol and skills a la Sth America and Europe.

We have not invested in the youngsters here which should be acting as feeder pathways into the open field under 18 comps.

Our whole 'football' system here is a jokefest.  Our first touch (inability to control / dribble) and lack of quality strikers has been a blight on the game for decades.

But let's not build proper futsal stadiums and a serious futbol junior comp, better to spend millions on attempting to host a world cup that we may not even qualify for!

Port have lived up to their 'Pretenders' mantle again.

They were very much 'torn apart'

If JHF was playing for any other team tonight he’d be tearing him to shreds. Definitely holds back on him specifically.

Hope he enjoys all that finals success does JHF and his porn mustache.

That’s why we hate the Cats.  Achieved too much !!! Chris Scott. Arrogant piece of 💩. But probably feels like that given their record!!!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
