I’m sure it will be your normal political jargon straight from the CEO’s handbook of generic answers which won’t allude to much and still leave a lot of questions for supporters.

Please prove me wrong Gary.

Good Morning Gerard.

Will Gerard ask the hard questions? Thing is doesn't matter how honest his answers are some on here will say his answers were poor.

I’m doing my best to wait for him to come on…. Too difficult. I’ll just try catch up later. Can’t stand listening to non stop rambling

pert always presents well in the media

he knows how to massage the narrative - be at at the mfc, the cfc, or sca

but there's a difference between massaging the narrative and managing the circumstances that have led to it

I'll tell you who would make a great CEO? Josh Mahoney...

You won't be proved wrong and you know it.

Hasn’t come across great, and it’s hard to given the very strong cultural statements made at the start of the season which are being played back to him

“Conversations between [Pert] & Petracca is not about him breaking his contract or being traded”

Putting a fair amount on the shoulders of the leadership group, who will be “driving the rebuild of the program, led by Gawn & Viney”

Just more spin. End of the day. I wouldn’t expect anything more or less - straight bat. We asked leadership from the club, this is about as good as it gets.

I wouldn’t go that far. What do you expect the CEO to say?

Cameron Schwab always spoke well too.

Exactly. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
Everyone screaming for our CEO or president to speak and when they do they complain.

I think a few on here want him  to say everything is [censored] and everyone will be sacked.

Pert here is on a hiding to nothing. He knows that every person is trawling for headlines so he has to walk a narrow path

I think Pert's in a no win situation here, at least with a lot of people on this site.

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. "It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
