Tmac just looks so sketchy with ball nowadays

Nowadays? I'm still haunted by his first 100 games in defence.

Turner looks like he will be a terrific third tall. Mobile, good defensive pressure, bit of nasty in him. We just really need someone else to step up.

Sparrow just do a syndesmosis?

Does look like it. Hopefully not.

I feel like our gameplan of trying to lock it into our forward half just leads to turn over pain like constantly against Freo.

Squirmy Dermott irks me more than Brian Taylor.  He is the most self infatuated tool I’ve come across

Jack Viney looks so checked out… 🙄😂😁

What a magnificent man.

The morons on TV seem to think he has already gone. 🙄

After the first ten minutes I think our effort has been pretty good. Hope they can keep it up.

Good follow up by Fritsch but should have swallowed that with two hands. Pure showboating.

27 degrees today, Ed Langdon is gonna get sunburn on his tongue

I can count on one hand the number of games where our effort this year has been unacceptable.
It has been the execution that’s been letting us down mostly.

There are five kids at Casey who should be playing over Kolt. Doing neither him nor us a favour by playing him now.

Sparrow subbed

This season keeps on giving.
I hope he will be ok and it’s nothing too serious.

Boy that is the worst post this year

Nothing from Kozzy yet.

miss his handball to jvr for a goal?

he's stopped his man rebounding from defence too

With every word you know Brereton thinks he’d be doing it better than the modern players. And he hates MFC

I love Nibbler but this is his worst game for some time. A couple of times he has shirked contact and looked very sheepish.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
