When Dwayne’s not salivating over Daicos, he’s banging on about how many Collingwood fans made the trip up. It’s QLD, not Mars ffs.

He clearly doesn’t know that teams are represented interstate largely by interstate-based fans.

Let’s talk cheer squads, Derrr-wayne. Which club boasts the highest level of travelling cheer squad members? I’ll give you a clue: it starts with Melbourne and ends with Not Collingwood.

How is Will graham only 18yo? AFL ready body.

looks like he’s played 100 already

And Anderson should be considered an A-grader now. Consistently excellent

Graham (and the other recent draftees) have had the benefit of the last 3!! preseasons.
It’s a part of being in their Academy.

Darcy Moore knows exactly what he’s doing with these knees into ribs flies. Cox did/does the same

It really is a very close competition and I like what I see in some of our youngsters.

Also it's school holidays. Most people escape Melbourne to get some sun.

Absolutely, he does.
Just don’t ask him to explain it. I need that time to do other things with my life.

Really need Adelaide to win tonight and probably Geelong to lose to help us get into the top 8 next week.

To be fair an airfare to QLD is about a months Centrelink payments for Pies fans, so it's a fair effort.

I didn’t see the Roos/Dogs game today, but evidently Bont had another cracker.

This time after back spasms.

Betting if he had an amputation he would have 50 and kick 6.
One of the only players in the comp that I would openly welcome. But it would never happen. You get the feeling if he’s not on the field, then he’s probably on the front desk, designing the jumper, or entertaining the kids dressed in the dog outfit.

We have the same amount of wins as Collingwood this year

doesn’t feel like it does it?

Certainly not on Demonland

Is Fly the right guy???

Craig McLoss.

Crows are on. and well overdue to have some intensity

Giants haven’t turned up

Crows will get up. calling it early

Bont would be a true gentleman & someone who parents would be happy to date their daughter.  I don't think he'd gave a nasty bite in his body & he is a fantastic player to watch

I really hope he wins a brownlow

the Cats could really do with a ‘Tom Stewart’ type at the back

Yes. Even if your grandkids are FS/FD for the Doggies 🐶

But they can use Afterpay

That's enough fooseball tonight, a Pies defeat will do it for me. Off to a Chris Cornell tribute gig now.

Hopefully Call Me A Dog gets a run.

QLD is for those whom don't have enough income/Centrelink to make it to Bali 😜

I can’t go for Essendon to win, I’m still recovering from the last time I did this. It was in 2021 and Essendon winning was beneficial for us. At one point though, I heard myself whisper, “Go Jake (Stringer)” and I knew it was only a matter of time before I’d be saying, “Go Jakey!” and there’s no coming back from that.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
