They should do a penalty shoot out and if everyone misses then no points.

And the kickers are chosen by the opposing team

*warning: absurdist thought*

If the Dees had also been playing in this game (three teams on the field), it would have been a 3-way tie; all on 85 points.

The Pies will out of the 8 at the end of round 7 so i’m happy

Let's hope that's the result after Rd 23 🤞🏻

Anyone remember what happened late September the last time there was a draw on Anzac Day?

How can anyone hate something that people refer to as the sport they are watching being the winner?

Credit to Wasilim Tagaloa (pardon the spelling - didn't catch it perfectly) for the national anthem tonight.

Took me a moment to realise why it seemed different to most and then I realised;

It was just a person with a well-trained clear bold voice singing the anthem.

No silly trills or affectations, and a voice strong enough to carry that simplicity.

Logging in from China to say suck [censored] to both Pies and Bombers

I do, I do !!! 😀

I’ve had a gut full of Brisbane and wish nothing but the worse for them. However a win tonight and we’ll somehow (probably) go ahead of GWS on the ladder.

So, go Lions, I guess…..

Oh look everyone, its an irrelevant Quartermain trying and failing to emulate Kayne Cornes!

The team that I’ve been banging on for months that will win this years flag, won the flag that year.

If it's not unreasonable to think that 16 wins will be required to finish top 4 then if the Bears lose tonight they could only afford to drop 2 of their next 16 games and Collingwood 3 games.

Another draw wouldn't go astray 😁

PS - have no issue with draws, seen my fair share in soccer over the years.

I'm pleased to see that hatred for Collingwood and Essendon passes the CCP censorship!

My partner just got back from the ‘G (bombers fan)

She said she’s never going to the footy again, the Collingwood supporters were so disgusting.

She left her seat with 10 minutes to go because she genuinely felt threatened regardless if they won or lost.

For context sake, we have a friend who works in the corporate functions team for the pies, so we occasionally get tickets among Pies supporters.

Bit of speed with this young fella. Love the helmet.

Considering the good crowds they are getting in the nation's capital I wonder if it's worth moving the Giants down there full-time. Canberra Giants also sounds so much better that Greater Western Sydney.

  • PREVIEW: North Melbourne

Can you believe it? After a long period of years over which Melbourne has dominated in matches against North Melbourne, the Demons are looking down the barrel at two defeats at the hands of the Kangaroos in the same season. And if that eventuates, it will come hot on the heels of an identical result against the Gold Coast Suns. How have the might fallen? There is a slight difference in that North Melbourne are not yet in the same place as Gold Coast. Like Melbourne, they are currently situated in the lower half of the ladder and though they did achieve a significant upset when the teams met earlier in the season, their subsequent form has been equally unimpressive and inconsistent.

  • REPORT: Adelaide

The atmosphere at the Melbourne Football Club at the beginning of the season was aspirational following an injury-plagued year in 2024. Coach Simon Goodwin had lofty expectations with the return of key players, the anticipated improvement from a maturing group with a few years of experience under their belts, and some exceptional young talent also joining the ranks. All of that went by the wayside as the team failed to click into action early on. It rallied briefly with a new strategy but has fallen again with five more  consecutive defeats.
