Rising Star Nomination for The Duke?

A couple of times when he has accelerated into a ground ball, grabbed it cleanly, and exited a pack before anyone can touch him (as though time has stopped) reminds me of one of our greatest players.

Love this comment in the guardian in the crows game review.

“Harley Reid’s had more column inches devoted to him than Bruce Lehrmann but Windsor may end up being the steal of that draft at pick seven”

Windsor is already special. He's going to be VERY special. I too, am very excited at what he could become.

But I get very nervous when certain comparisons and labels are given to young players in their first year. Nick Watson being called 'The Wizard' EVERY time, for example. It puts unnecessary pressure on him.

The Flower comparison has been whispered in media and in forums. I get it, believe me, but we (me included) must pull ourselves up.

Watching Robbie play was like seeing Nureyev at a barn dance. He just made the other players on the field look clumsy and cumbersome.

As Sinead O'Connor once said to him, "Nothing compares 2 U".

Let's watch this kid build his own legacy and just enjoy the ride.

I'm one of those who have made comparisons, and yeah…you rewatch Flower and you just see a man amongst men, taking the pizz on the regular. Long way to go yet.

Windsor reminds me of Andrew Embley

Jake Lever is an interesting inclusion.

Why is it interesting? If he won Goal of the Round with his first career goal then he deserves to be on the list.

Not that he is on the list for that reason, just that he doesn't kick many and not too many I remember being spectacular.

Rick should have played forward in the  2023 final series on the same size. 😳😳

That's because he has only kicked 4 goals in his career. 3 for the Crows and 1 for the Dees.

Not disputing his place on the list, just surprised by it.

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
