I would say pound for pound he would be one of the strongest players about.

He just shakes tackles off and that goal of his was a perfect example.

Got tackled and caught and didn’t use a Hand pass option and burned a team mate and a goal in the third.

Hit to use the first option more IMO.

This is incredible and I don't know how to feel about it. Part of me says get him in if he gets through the session, another part says hold him back a week to make sure there aren't going to be issues. I just think of last season with Oliver and how he pushed himself just that little bit too hard when he was only a week away and set himself back another month.

But as this is the positive thread I'll just say I'm happy to hear he's back on the track!

That  wasn’t necessarily Clarries hammy if you really think about it.

I recently bought a Mash Five Hundred - part of the modern 'retro bike' renaissance. Pretty chuffed with it.

Mash Five Hundred Green 650 cc | Mash Motorcycles

There goodLooking bikes mate.

Ironically aren't they 400 cc?

They put out the same horses as my 500 but yours is a good 27 kegs lighter which probably makes the world of difference.

Yours reminds me of the Kawasaki retro w series a few moons ago.

The good thing bout these bikes is they have good resale.

My Enfield with a full tank weighs about 195 which is a lot for me.

The power to weight ratio for a 500 isn't great.

Could be time for a trade.

Thanks Skuit.

Ps love the extended saddle. It's similar to mine. Great for passengers or panniers.

It's just a part of his game though.

Not saying your wrong but that's just Viney's nature.

Believes in his own strength and that's why he kicks goals like he did v Swans. He's a bull.

Like Kozzies leap you just sometimes gotta take the bad with the good.

I love both Kossie and Jack but in a totally disciplined team they are outside team rules at times. This holds you back as a team if you allow each player to burn team mates or as Kossie does fly stupidly. He has not hit one mark really yet.

In 2021 Indont think this was an issue and it should not be now. But it is it’s like Maxy not responding ( and other players) to Brody’s tactics last week.
It’s a coaching weakness and why goody is not recognised as a good game day tactician.
plan B is not there generally IMO.

Come on now, 58er. It’s positive news ONLY in this thread, remember?

No because you are Half empty from head to toe. Not in your nature to compliment.

To be fair to Roost it far, they were the most confident Demon supporter I have ever witnessed last year. This year though, it’s like their account has been hacked.

Yes and that’s the aim that should be for our players as WCW.
Sure we will see a much improved Dees team on Sunday. Selection and performance. We don’t play two baddies in a row usually Go Dees

I’m not sure… what do they say? 🤣

EDIT: haha, I missed the post after the one I’m responding to. I never had that problem fortunately as I was very careful about where I ate. I actually put on weight while I was there!  But I do know many people who’d attest to the truth in those words.

So, big positive. So far every club that has moved Brodie Grundy on has won the premiership the following year.

We should start a negative news thread to draw away the doom mongers from this thread

The food is great in my experience although I wouldn’t recommend buying from street vendors. The driving is mental. Traffic keeps moving though.

Agreed, food is reference to the good smells 😁 food is amazing, I went vegetarian the whole time there, the flavours and taste were incredible. Driving is insane, basically no road rules adhered to, just incessant beeping to let others know where they are and what they want to do, chaotic but works somehow!

Took an Uber to travel 50ks once. Thought I’d never see my family again. Definitely used up a few of my 9 lives

No need to, BDA. Pretty much every thread eventually goes the way of negativity regardless of the topic. 😑

But your suggestion is interesting in that a negative news thread would likely be the only thread to rival the No T$ No BS thread in terms of length. 😜

Ran into Kate y'day before Pink's final concert.  The positive take aways...

👉🏼  Clarry's on track take no notice of extreme media views to the contrary

👉🏼  Caulfield's on track just a few hurdles to get over and all going well we're aiming for 2025 take off

👉🏼  We pushed back against usual Cattery draw and won that battle.  There was a trade off and blow back but i'll leave that given the nature of thread

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
