Previous couple of B&F's there has been a live stream.

Hope it'll be the same this year.

Collingwoods B&F was live on Foxtel for comparison.

Looks like all the kefuffle this week has messed MFC communications up completely No B&F details coming through and Casey B&F totally ignored, not good enough MFC not by a long shot.!!!

What details to you want?

They have been on the website for weeks. Unless you are expecting a live coverage as per recent seasons.
Not sure we didn't have to register our details for a zoom coverage.

Ok so in response to Adonski's clever (in jest) take that 12 players might be all that's left at the B&F ....

Some may not get the veiled reference if not a Seinfeld fan or haven't watched this particular episode.

If you are you're already aware of George's character and that he's a habitual cotastrophizer and panic merchant/drama king, this GIF a great example of that.

On one hand some D'landers do call "fire" when there is just some smouldering (nothing to see here) smoke in a basket.  That's one aspect.  I'm also guilty of that on occasions!

There's also some truth in what Adonski jokingly exaggerated in the sense that so many players (end of season this time around) are either looking to exit, have already retired or may be doing so due to potential career ending injuries. Probably also some Clarry no show 'spin off' take in there as well.

A bit of a scramble for the exit (overnight list 'Shrinkage') with a D'land (Costanza style) panicy twist added in for good measure.

It was also a great excuse to just post that GIF, an all time classic Seinfeld moment imv.  George taking no prisoners in pursuit of his own self preservation.

As you can see, my SOH is pretty warped.  And some of it is (sometimes) a reflection of my own flaws that i see when watching certain sitcom characters & episodes.

Thanks a lot for your trouble much appreciated. Even mentioning the characters didn't mean much at all.

If I watched more than ONE episode of Seinfeld for 5 minutes that's about how much I have watched and of about a dozen American " comedies" in my 75 years. Others for eg. are Fraser Don't Tell Your Mother, another  with an actor who was named Earle etc.

A friend made me watch the LAST episode of Seinfeld about 25/30 years ago and it was a waste of time really.

Even though I have had Foxtel for 15 years I have never watched repeats of the American comedies.

I did watch "The Nanny" and liked that

I was into British comedies ie Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served and Yes Minister with IMO far superior if vastly different comedy lines and topics. Much the same with Crime Shows also.

I thought there must have been a joke I didn't get or I would have taken umbrage with him.

Thanks again and Go Dees.

I think DeeZone is mainly referring to the fact that nothing was said about the Casey B&F prior to it happening last night.

I'm going tonight and have been to many in the past.
To save me calling the club - I don't get a ticket from memory - just show up and I'm on the list?

Yep. You’ll be on the list if you’ve paid the money for your seat.

Make sure you post updates BEFORE you get hammered. Oh wait, that’s advice to myself, not you. 😂

Not going tonight, Kat. Gonna watch the livestream from a pub in Richmond while celebrating another Dees diehard’s birthday with a roomful of Dees Diehards.

Enjoy the night!!!

Not that I know of but they do have a 'raffle' tonight where you tip the top 10 in order.
All winning entries (there's usually quite a few), go in the draw for about 6 prizes.
$10 an entry from memory, so if you know anyone going tonight give them a call with your list and sling them a tenner at some stage.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
