They definitely overachieved last year, they are still middle of the pack.

That's being generous. Will finish 14th after this round and will be lucky to win three more for the year. Up until about three weeks ago had a great run with the least injuries. Pains me we lost to them but we have at least taken a couple of top teams .

I mean that they are still far off becoming a serious premiership contender. I believe people in WA drank their own bathwater and really thought they were a chance, just get one unicorn!

Suns had the chance to take a stranglehold in the first quarter but lousy "connection" has left the door open.

Saints next 4 games at Marvel. How many games do they play there? Seems they’re there most weeks.

They play their next 5 at Marvel !

They're bog ordinary cant even get into the game against the Suns. Most likely team to drop out of the 8. Only still in it because of their soft fixture.

Top 2 is out of our reach barring upsets. We also have to win every game.

I disagree if Port drop today they are in a little bother.

Subbed out of the game now.

Even if they lose today they could only lose 2 more (Geelong and Collingwood). Unless they drop another and we win all our games we can’t mathematically catch them.

Our chance is small and we can only blame ourselves but the Local Derby is always a 50/50 game no matter which team is  sitting where on the ladder. Happy if we can just win our last six and sit back and watch.

Unlikely they drop out of the top 2 but I think the showdown could go either way and GWS may push them as well.

Can see a dip in performance from them after 13 straight wins, teams can rarely sustain it.

Carltons going to replace the saints in the top 8 by the end of the h&a season.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
