HTB in the Bombers goal square.... no call.

10 seconds later HTM paid which was debatable.... goal.

Really hard to take this game seriously from a ruling POV

What a circus & the umpiring fraternity are the fully fledged clowns this season.  What are the teaching these guys and how are they overlooking so many obvious interpretations whilst paying less severe ones shortly after?

Many of them momentum builders/killers.

Having said that, the Blues are their own worst enemy.

So many stressed faces coming off at half time.  Whatever is happening with coach <> players certainly isn't making for a 'all for one one for all' environment for them of late.  Sort of reminds me a tad of our MN years a tad.

And shows in their accuracy for goal and/or shots falling short.

Voss can’t coach. He changed their structure significantly from last week, and they are just wide open down the middle tonight.

Any side looks good running through the middle with no pressure. It’s embarrassing.

Carlton are obviously playing brand name players who are out of form or not 100% fit.

They cant get out of the 1980's.

Their payroll reads like a house of horrors.  Might be 5 or 6 Grundy type contracts. Even Collingwood had to move on one player, Carltons got loads of them.

They cant sack Voss they'll be a laughing stock. Who would coach them?  Maybe Strop.

At the end of the day they'll both be [censored] Steve but I reckon their coach might be on firmer ground than Carlton's !!

Is Dravid still their Coach?

I immediately thought how bloody wanky is that. Didn’t suit the occasion if that’s what they’re chasing.

Welp the Test Match final’s as good as done with India going down without a fight, and there’s no way on Earth I’d voluntarily watch Essendon win. I might have to join @Jaded No More in watching cute dogs on TikTok.

I’ve gone down a black hole of watching dog rescue videos and I’m shedding tears like a Carlton supporter right now.

Is it just me or has Essendon been dropping the ball in tackles regularly all night and no HTB, but they’ve been given about 6 or 7 similar decisions when Carlton drop it?

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
