Hilarious.

Bear is extremely food oriented, to the point where he will attend the opening of a packet of chips from the other side of the house, and has learnt how to spell dinner because we’ve started spelling it instead of saying it to avoid him going crazy.
If you’re eating anything and won’t share he will tap you on the arm repeatedly until you give him some. If I say “you can’t have this” (like if I’m having chocolate), he dramatically flop down and sighs like he’s worked a 40 hour week and has two mortgages and 3 ex wives.

The first trick he learnt was to shake for a treat. To this day, if I say the word treat he will sit at my feet and raise his paw to shake without even being asked… and this is why my dog is chonky.

He taps you on the arm repeatedly until you give him some?! That’s painfully cute! How could you ever say no to that little face?! 🥺

As I said, it’s why he’s chunky. You can’t say no. My dad can’t ever say no to him. The minute my dad is around and there’s food, Bear goes and puts his head on my dad because he knows old man can’t resist him!

On Mother’s Day Bear had bacon, salami, egg salad, bagels, smoked salmon and croissant… and then nearly killed us with farts 😂

Can you imagine what this topic would look like on a Collingwood forum.

What was your favorite round @Monbon?

I was a postie in Hawthorn in 1980. I quit after a German Shepherd, bounding along 100 metres ahead of its  owner chased me round my bike. I kept yelling F.Off - it had worked with a German Shepherd once before, German, you know, they just follow orders - and when the owner casually sauntered up to us. He said. Don't yell at the dog - you'll frighten it.

What part of an ostrich is that? 😃

Meet Teddy.

Loves watching footy on TV (that is the 2021 GF he is watching).

Very good corralling defence work. Can be selfish with the ball, doesn't share it around.

Apologies if there is already a thread for this somewhere at the far end of the Search function's reach. You'll definitely be a contributor to this one, @WalkingCivilWar (how are the girls going?)

Son and partner have just bought a puppy. I haven't sought permission to share greater detail, but I can say they've named her 'Edie' after Eden Zanker ('our girl', WCW!) I reckon there are other - likely many - 'Landers out there who've blessed their pets with Dees names. And more to come.

Here's your chance for warm and fuzzy sharing, pics particularly welcomed, including welcoming new ones as they inevitably arrive.

Natural immigration once enough jobs have been created would work well  and assist Tassie. .

Teddy is adorable!
Does he ever wear his hair in a ponytail? I feel like he could pull off the Brody Grundy.

I think it's a single top knot in those photos, but occasionally the pigtails come into play!

Every match I’m OTT with plaits and ponytails and ribbons of all lengths and sizes. (I’ve had little girls come down the front to see me and they’ve gone back to their parents with a new ‘do, complete with red n blue ribbons. 😁) Give me 10 minutes with Teddy and I guarantee it’ll be cuteness overload!

That'd be one of Bach's?

Yawohl: then there's Brahms Haydn Variations, not to mention the diabolical Diabelli...And I might have included Elgar's Enigma Variations had he not written Land of Hope and Glory, and Gerontius - both works which are anathema to my sensitive soul. Uncle Bitters of the Romsely Manor would describe the latter works as egregious.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
