Richmond fans have started to chirp as they feel like they have this one.

Honestly Richmond fans are the worst.

both TMac and Tomlinson look cooked

That was really poor by Tomlinson I thought. Dropped the mark then stayed on the ground far too long allowing an easy shot on goal.

Tomlinson having a shocker. Dropped the mark, then no follow up, turned his back on play and opponent moved through the space he could've been guarding. Lost his feet many times.

Harmes trying hard, D.Turner intercepting well.

They don't seem invested in it. Chasing and getting beaten to the ball.

Still in touch, with that Sestan (Grey) goal. (Commentator getting the name wrong)

D Turner is now streets ahead of Tomlinson as a back up defender

I would have had turner in the the seniors by now.

I think Sestan is any player whose number ends in 8.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
