Any State can have it if you put up the most money...     If they want they can buy it for two years or more..it's money

Qld and NSW have good tourism bases compared to SA who is desperate to buy an event

Hell even Dan can buy it for Melbourne if he wants

Interesting to see what the other 16 clubs have to say about it.

$750,000 per club should be enough to buy their silence. It's only really fair if they make one of the games a showdown.

I think I’ve watched enough footy to know if they have cameras between the goal post and the point post. Do they? Cause they should

Gillon McLachlan stated today that it is going to be very tough to move it away from Adelaide. Th S A Premier has stated that he is trying to do a long term deal to keep it there.

I hope this isn't true. I 100% believe it should be held in Tassie maybe the year before they come into the competition.

Games in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and maybe somewhere like Glenorchy or Burnie?

Well I guess since Vic pinched the f1 they should have something.

he's talking up the product....not the venue

That would go down well, but I'd chip in.

Forget a top 4-7 pick, pick three could well be on the cards the way Fremantle are playing.

Top 10 pick is a lock 🔒.

Hoping this becomes top 5 pick 🤞🏻

A flag and a top 3 pick. I don’t ask for much.

Lukosius almost with the perfect CHF game. 13 kicks, 11 marks, 10 score involvements, 3 assists. he should have kicked 3/4 goals to top it off

freo should think about putting someone on him!

Loving this match ... other than the commentators Brererton and Wakelin's great mate Lynch. Shut up about the 'drop zone'.

Poor old Wagner, not exactly doing his cause much good.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
