It would be more like if Mac Andrew was drafted by us, having spent 5 years developing in our academy. And sought a trade in year 4 after finally playing 17 decent games in a role he'd made his own.

Toby Bedford would be the best comparison but he probably didn't get the same starting 22 opportunity that Henry had.

I don't like Bell at the best of times, but I can def understand why they'd be annoyed about this particular trade request given the time sunk into Henry's development. August 31, 20232 yr Freeo not happy a guy in LJ’s draft year deciding to leave… Hmmmmmm. Is there something wrong here?? I can’t remember the MFC expressing themselves other than LJ was a wanted player, and all the best, sayonara after he left.

Not so sure about Casey, Langdon hasn’t exactly lit the year up and I had hoped for a bit more from Hunter in terms of helping with connection into our forward line. While they are gut runners I wouldn’t say they have elite speed either would love him at Melbourne.

October 16, 20232 yr Getting real 'I bought you dinner, how dare you not sleep with me' vibes out of Fremantle on this. Must be quite alarming for Freo supporters to see the number of best-22 and developing players who want out right when they were supposed to be on the cusp of contending.
