Come on Sydney... don't balls this up!

I have a sick feeling about this one... must be a Melbourne supporter thing because we've blown so many games from similar positions.

Still a healthy lead for Sydney, they will be fine.

Same but Sydney aren't Melbourne. They have to hold on

Reckon they desperately need a goal to stop the Pies momentum.

When Collingwood get on a roll, they have this infuriating ability to pour on successive goals.

De Goey has done bugger all

A few poor decisions and non decisions keeping Pies in the game.

What result do HQ want tonight Clint

I think either will be satisfactory for them.

Swans just need 1st goal in the last and that should do it.

Got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Melbourne have lost so many games from this position. Please don't make the same mistake Sydney.

It’s still game on

The Filth have a great record in Final Quarters this year

They got the four teams they wanted onto the Prelim and a home one for an interstater.  Not fussed after that job done

Here's hoping

It's all setup for a miraculous Pies win

Let's see how involved the umpires start getting here. Collingwood might need a hand.

A few cheapies in front of goal to start the quarter would do the trick.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
