Tracca joins an elite group next week and I hope that Clarry can keep his run going. But don’t want him to risk further injury.😢💕

TRACC’s 150th game next week!!!

Let’s all hope he gets to celebrate TWO awesome things that night!

On the same night it’s Tommy Sparrow’s 50th (already!)

Be nice if his run continues and 'tracs' like N.Smith's or, even better, B.Dixon's before him, which came with 3 and 4 flags respectively!

As an aside, Jack Crisp up to 185 consecutive games - that streak is starting to get a bit too close to the record for comfort.

Couldn't agree more. Needs to sling tackle someone.

He must be close to burnt out?...

😉

Norm's record is pretty decent considering it was WWII at the time!

Michael Hibberd will also bring up 100 MFC games. Big night of milestones!

I asked if that would be included on the banner as well as Tracc’s and Sparrow’s milestones but unfortunately it’s only ever total number of games that gets a mention.
All good though, WE know he’s marking his 100th as a Demon and we love him for it.

Great achievement. Seems a long time ago that he missed a whole season with a knee.i Must admit I was worried he'd make after that. Glad he proved me wrong

Just a curious thought about the difference between Oliver's consecutive run from debut, and Petracca now getting a stable run at it after a very interrupted start to his career. Gawn and Brayshaw have each only missed five games in the last five years.

Got a whole group of young guys rarely missing a game now, too. Touch wood but it really seems we've got our preventative conditioning sorted out.

Side note; how ridiculous is it that Nathan Jones managed 109 consecutive games starting from 2012. Resilience personified, physically and mentally.

make a seperate little banner for hibba that he can run through between the time he leaves the rooms and arrives in the tunnel onto the ground.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
