I hate saying this but the pies play a very exciting brand of footy. they are well in contention for a finals spot

Who would people rather make the finals out of Swans, Pies, Tigers or Dogs? Looks like those 4 will be fighting for 2 positions.

Tigers and Dogs for me, we seem to match up better against those two.

Hows the jumper clash at Geelong

Hilariously bad! Both blue and white, north with white shorts so Cats play in mostly white jersey. Amateur hour

Who would have thought Chol would be a much better pick up then Ben Brown?

Rankine! My word

“add that to the Rankine file”

not often I say it but nice commentary

So we didn't get Derwayne today as he is making a mess of the commentary box window at GMHBA.

Seriously some of the best dukes I’ve seen by Casboult.

North seriously soft against the Cats tonight. Disappointing. They were seriously physical against us at Docklands a few weeks ago. Just ask Langdon and Macca. North seem to have given up tonight.

Pies high octane game plan has caught up with them. They're gassed

The suns have wasted a lot of chances. I hope they don't regret it

Add King to the Suns and they are a serious team

Surprised the umpires aren’t in white in the Cats v Roos game.

Agreed, although I think adding blue socks would be a nice touch. Might as well go for the perfect visual blur between teams and umps.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
