Heppell is having an absolute stinker. Responsible for 2 goals and a turnover so far. 

I’d love our forwards to get the same protection as Carlton forwards.

No wonder people criticise umpires .Up pops this dh's no tonight no2 .if you had a blindfold on this bloke he would still call a free kick. Carlton are the biggest stagers in the AFL .They just can't help themselves.

Essendon are so poor after a turnover. Their defensive spread is slow, lacks intent, and Carlton are running to half forward unimpeded. 

So I guess the umpire dissent rule has gone out the window? Stringer and Draper should have given 3 away by now

Will be interesting to see if umpires try to even up the free kick count. They have said they aren’t told free kick stats during the game. I don’t believe it. I will back Bombers to get more frees this half or otherwise it will be the topic of the week.
