So far haven’t seen a team that I can see challenging us.

Nasty nasty knee injury. Port are falling like flies. Not great.

Some ridiculous mistakes in this game. Real howlers

I dunno. On paper they are so talented but I don’t rate their coach. They’ve had a gun team for so long but something is just NQR.

I have it on good authority that s%^t went down badly when Davis was removed as captain in favour of a seconds player.

This game is a debacle. Horrible horrible skills.

Agreed. The difference in quality between this game and the Sydney/GWS game earlier is night and day

This is a real war of attrition - Port running out of players, but Hinkley is looking totally lost.

Fun game to watch tho. Good pressure now from both teams and a tight contest.

I see you’re allowed to argue with the umpire now? Was it just our game against Carlton that rule existed for?

Is the ball made of butter or something?

Hot and humid in Brissy, round 1, we were dumbly compared to the Dogs too.

Yep. So you’re just allowed to argue free kicks again with no penalty.

They really bring the hate on themselves at times. Seriously why bring in a black and white rule then officiate it with all manner of grey immediately

I like how Sydney plays a lot. They’re hard and have skilful youngsters. If they can keep their top players on the park this year, they could go deep into finals.

tough game

but so mistake riddled

I'm not sure about the mini ponytail Mitch Robinson is sporting

Yeah I thought they were one of our toughest games last year and with a years improvement into their younger players I think they will be a real danger this season.

God imagine languishing in the dreaded Sunday time slot in round 1…. What a terrible triple header.
Hawks are irrelevant already.

Definitely. We didn’t win by much from memory. They play like a seasoned team in the attitude they have in that, they don’t seem to drop their heads and they just keep coming at you regardless of the score. Which is pretty impressive considering how young they are.

based on what i've seen so far this weekend, Norf are warm favourites to finish top 4.
