Anyone know where the best place is to get frames for these posters? What size frame do you need?

I've got the weg posters from 1900 through to 1948 which have been sitting in storage waiting until I can put them up with pride now need to get the 55-64 ones to complete the collection and want to frame them all up on the wall in my study. I bought the block mounted Knight poster but want to frame the rest.

As much as I dislike the Hun, I ordered Knight’s poster. I usually wouldn’t pay $30 shipping on a $5 poster, but who knows if we’ll ever be back here again? 😄

Approx 60cm x 45cm mate.

I ordered a pre-framed poster from walltowall.net.au and that’s the size they’ve listed.

I got 2 of the Mark Knight posters for the Melbourne Demons as 2021 Premiers. Was fortunate enough to get them from my local news agency.

They look great!

I now need to get my WEG posters.

I will then need to look around where to get them framed.

Has anyone received the link to the Premium Edition poster yet? Curious to see if it's been sent out (and hence if I've missed out 😕)...

Remember to pick up you Hun bumper sticker....

My WEG one looks wonderful. I briefly unraveled it, had a look and put it back in. I’m paranoid I’ll get a rip on it. I just can’t wait to get it framed. Hopefully somewhere accessible like K-Mart have the right size frames.

The Mark Knight one is really nice too. I like the colour and frankly, it was much better than I expected (after seeing his ones for the cats and magpies.) I hope he keeps up the good work if we get another one. Only thing I didn’t like was the 1964 tattoo and the “Norm Smith curse” (which I don’t subscribe to) comment. But apart from that, it’s a really great poster that I show with pride on my wall. He’s no WEG, but I think the grand final poster art is in good hands.

Fabulous. Thanks for the heads up Cass!

Sorry but after getting my one, I stand corrected. It most definitely does have that watermark on it.

I ordered two of the HUN posters ($4 job... I'm cheap) almost immediately after we won the premiership... they are yet to arrive.

I ordered both a hoodie and a poster, arrived yesterday, so maybe you will get yours hardtack some time this week?

Hi Cassie. Yeah, I saw that when it arrived a couple of weeks ago. To be honest I'm not as blown away with the poster as I was initially and it's still sitting in the tube it came in. I'll sure I'll end up getting it framed though at some point and place it in a prominent place in the house.

I ordered them through the Good Friday appeal, not the club so it may be different. Nothing from the club has arrived of yet

Mine were ordered directly from the HUN shop via the Good Friday Appeal link. I sent a message to them two days ago, but no response to that either.

Did you keep a copy of your order? I have the shop app that allows you to track it down. Would you like its link?

UPDATE: My hoodie and Premiers t-shirt arrived today

Yeah why not… thanks.

I’m glad(?) to see I’m not alone with the tardy merchandise. Though as I am OS, I did get a DHS update to say my goods have been shipped so I guess that’s something.

In comparison, I also ordered a new Liverpool scarf direct from their UK provider, and that will arrive tomorrow; one week after it was ordered.

Take that for what you will.

I can’t find the link to it but the 1988 was sensational. It was by far the best poster he did for us.

Now that he’s selling them and if by some chance we do lose, is he going to reuse it again if we make another one?

I found a very tiny image of the 1988 Melbourne losing VFL Grand Final poster.

Here is the link on Big Footy with all the losing Grand Final posters:losingweg-png.150229

I have looked everywhere on the Internet for a larger version of the 1988 one. However, if someone could find a larger version of the image it would be greatly appreciated.

Gotta love how many of these are for the Pies. 😁

I got a framed WegArt poster. It's great.

I also bought a few Knight posters. Not so keen on them. Won't bother getting one framed.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
