Don't you just love watching real nuffies at a footy game for a change? It's a beautiful thing.

FMD that wasn’t high on Dangerfield either.

Port seem a lot more dangerous with Fantasia in over Georgiades (injured). Our small forwards did well against Geelong.

You legend

who will geelong look to pick up at the end of the year to help them get over the fact that they... can't win away from kardinia park in games where quarters go for longer than 20 minutes?

Geriatrics just sooooo slooooowwwww

Maybe recruit Biden, who maybe looking for a job, in the off season to add a bit of pace.

Lol spelt Geelong wrong… too many red wiiiiines

Now I’m getting worried about playing Port…

MFCSS?

Gee Port look hot 🔥

It’s way past Geri-long’s collective bedtime.

Dangerfield definitely doesn’t look right, must be carrying an injury.

I think they needed a rest , and without Toohey and Stewart are really up against it.

I have never seen a player drop the footy more than Blicavs, and he never gets pinged for it.

Port are looking so good because he Cats cannot create a stoppage and get their chip and chip game going. Getting annihilated in the midfield.

Port look far too fast for Geelong. Killing them on the counter.

Port breaking tackles too easily as well.

Port are just not worried at all about approaching cats tacklers. They know they can just sidestep them because every cat has a bootful of treacle.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
