Not sure, but I'd expect the turnstiles work in the barcode not the numbers. Maybe the ticketing office at the ground might be open so if it doesn't work you could present your paper copy at the ticketing office in exchange for a ticket you can swipe. Or, you could take your paper copies to a ticketek office before Saturday.

There is some information at this link that might be useful. It could be a printer issue or you might need to open the tickets with a different program before printing them

You might want to try a friend printing them. Or at a library etc

Whilst it's only a couple of bucks, it's complete BS that we have to pay a service fee to redeem tickets.

what service fee?

i think you might have got that if you  selected seats above what your membership covers. It's not very clear on that screen.

Same. Got charged 3.15 too

Yep $3.15 here too, general admission.

I also go charged $3.15 and was also not allowed to select anywhere other than level 1. It claimed level 4 'Allocation exhausted' at 5:01 when I logged in. Even if every single reserve seat member selected level 4 surely it wouldn't be 50% full. I suspect some funny business is going on here.

Same.

I'd assumed with 50% capacity that "allocation exhausted" actually meant that they aren't opening L4

I'm making the same assumption. Seems counter productive to the whole social distancing thing to limit capacity then to shove us all together down the bottom

anyone know what the rules are re bags for Sat's game and if they have an official link. I'm hearing rumours of a bag ban. Don't want to turn up with grandkids and their back packs and not get entry.

It said this in the "Important Event Information" section on ticketek page.

So backpacks ok?

I got $54 so I gave up

As mentioned earlier, you need to select seating location that applicable to whatever membership you have.

It you have general admission, then select "General Reserved" ticket and it'll be $0.00  (plus $3.15 service fee... ?)

thanks jtr.....just what i wanted to know

Not that it's a lot of money but as a matter of principle the $3.15 service fee isn't supposed to be charged (according to the Pies membership department anyway!)

On SEN daisy theyre saying the bag needs to be A4 size, whatever that means.

if so that is very small - typical sheet of paper size

previous poster quoted mcg rules which said small enough to fit under seat

safest choice is take a soft bag which can be squashed up enough to get past the gate guards

Restart your computer.

or take computer with you to mcg ?

If you have sourced an MCC ticket, it won't have a QR code on it as you need to use your MCC members card to access the ground.  I had exactly this issue during the Boxing Day test.  If you are getting tickets outside the members enclosure you should have a QR code

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
