3rd ACL for Aaron Nietschke

Awful news, really sad for him. It really sucks that they’re pre-season injuries as well so he’s never had a chance at showing what he’s got out on the field.

Yeah ... like Schwarz and the Swans player Alex Johnson.

It's so sad. Looks like Aaron just isn't cut out to be a footballer.

I hope he finds another career which is rewarding for him. But it looks like the AFL dream will not materialise.

Poor kid, maybe it's time to think about his health and moving away from footy?

I feel for the kid, but the sad reality is that some players don't have the bodies to play football at the highest level.

I get that we wanted to do the right thing by Aaron and give him another chance, but it was a poor decision at the time and in hindsight. At best we should have allowed him to be a train on player and have a look at him through the pre season.

I wish Aaron all the best for his recovery and the next phase of his life.

Did it happen late in the first third on Friday? Seem to recall Aaron copping a dog act after kicking from inside defensive 50 and a downfield free being paid.

Very sad news - whatever Aaron decides to do now I wish him all the best

You know, at some point you are going to have to say that a decision the club makes is a good one, just to give your unending, unyielding, and often unfair criticism of the club's decision-making some meaning.

How ironic that the phrase "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" was first expressed by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Different spelling, so I assume no relation of Aaron Nietschke.

Freidrich & Aaron only share one letter, unlikely to be related.

Actually could possibly  be related, way back in der fatherland.
Many homophone names result from transcription errors, and poor education especially in previous centuries.
