Don't hold your breath Biff unless you ring in and ask they will not get asked. We are all too polite at the MFC.

Is extra heat being applied to Goodwin regarding wins, when we are cap-in-hand to members again?

Does he (Goodwin) still have the full confidence of the board? If so, Why? (Joking)

Does the club understand how angry the base are becoming with our performances?

Do the players have a handle on that same question?

Do we have a future in the league if members dont bail out the club?

How do we afford a home base if we already cant pay the bills?

Does the club understand how angry the base are becoming with our performances?

How does he convince members who are losing faith to donate money in these extreme times?

Does anyone still think 2019 was the abberation?

Does the club understand how angry the base are becoming with our performances.

given that a clear mandate in the 2022 blueprint was finals every year and a home base close to the mcg, how long is the legrope on these failing to happen? if goodwin doesn't guide us to finals in 2020, is there a getout clause of his extended contract? what are the timelines around a decision being announced for a homebase and where does that position pert as ceo going forward?

When will Demonland finally be consulted on match day strategy, team selection and general strategy?

Since when did beige Moleskins and shiny R.M Williams become part of our corporate uniform?

Why are we employing so many corporate assistants when the entire economy is flatlining?

Can we sack 20 of the off-field parasites and get a proper forward coach?

I agree

Demonland can easily replace them all.

I for one really think @picket fence would shine in a match day role.

What are the ramifications for the FD if we don't play finals this year considering the 4 year strategy unveiled at the AGM was to play finals every year from 2020-2023?

If a decision had to be made on Goodwin would the club be able to pay him out considering he is contracted to end of 2022?

What are the implications for the board who approved Goodwin's contract extension if we are hamstrung by that contract?

When will we hear any concrete announcements regarding a home base? Timeframes?

What revenue streams are we going to rely on to make up the lost revenue after we exit from the pokies?

What other revenue streams are the board working on to make up the shortfall in revenue in 2020?

Have the AFL confirmed we will be hosting Anzac Eve and Queens Birthday next year?

That's a start

Goodwin's tenure as coach really needs to be put to Bartlett (and to not accept cop-out answers).

The board unnecessarily extended his contract for way too long, that puts us in a position that has us stuffed financially if we get rid of him early, or even more stuffed with membership retention (ultimately financially) if we don't.

What’s the question?

I don't doubt it od. But I'd still like to see the questions asked. Put the heat on to let them know the supporters will not put up with another year like last year.  They are at risk of losing all the gains since 2014 (membership and revenue wise) in the space of 12 months!

They don't have an easy job but it seems to have been made harder by their own rash decision making. They need to know the supporters won't just let things roll on, there needs to be accountability.

I'm one who last year would've been labelled an "apologist" for Goodwin, the players and the club - but my patience has run out. I said I'd give them 2020 to see how they responded from 2019 and the early numbers don't look promising.

Lets go one better and re-recruit Morton as well.   Hell get Cook for the forwardline.

Now you're asking the right questions

i'm in the same boat re goodwin; really not liking what we've seen so far in the regular season at all

it's harder to judge the board, but they shifted their own goalposts with the introduction of the new ceo, who is in his second year

but we really need to see some action beyond' please give us money so we can survive'

what actual effect will going to the afl to survive the covid crisis have beyond not being in debt to them?

what are the timeframes on any proposed development would be a start - even around when an announcement beyond 'some time before 2022' would force them to have some degree of accountability

they've put the onus on the afl and aflw coaches demanding finals every year; if the new ceo's sole kpi is a home base, they need to do more than just announce an 'intention' to have one near the g

No doubt they'll use covid as an excuse and it may well have disrupted plans. But for an organisation that has had this as a key issue for decades excuses no longer gain traction. Covid or not we just want answers and action.

Interesting question Biffen. Corrupt former CEO, corrupt councillors getting developer kickbacks. Plant a few trees for windbreaks and all will be forgiven!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
