Kevin Sheedy Hypocrite

Featured Replies

Kevin Sheedy complaining about clubs trying to poach GWS players in the Sun today. MFC says hello.

As always, loves to promote his ideas and favourites, and always operates from self interest.  Has done some good things, but gws are either a real team now, or not.  Can’t rub it both ways.

Everyone operates from some level of self interest.

I would say he has also had the game at heart...on the whole he has been & is good for the game.

So they steal Scully, Ward, Davis etc then complain when it comes back to other clubs looking at GWS Talent.
Sheedy = A grade tool

And GWS gets a recruiting zone.  So it’s already imbalance towards them

I bet Sheedy hasn't complained about GWS poaching all of the swans academy & NEAFL players......

I haven't seen Sheedy's article, so I won't comment on what he said, but wasn't GWS established deliberately with a larger number of players which required them to "lose" some over time via trading, retirements and free agency?  If so, the model effectively invited clubs to pursue GWS's excess players.

On the whole,  Sheed's  has been  'brilliant'  for the game...  equally with LMatthews.

I'd say that Barass,  Sheeds and Mathews,  are all equal with Teddy Whitten,  as the best promoters of our game.

Sheedy no time for him at all. Pictured in Rob Flowers book as coach of Sun all stars and Rob F in same jumper ALLSTARS photo but in Sheedy's latest book Rob not rated in top 25-30 players.Disgraceful disrespect!

His opinions are WORTHLESS!!
