 Ben Cousins: Coming Clean

7:30pm Sunday 29/3 on Channel 7

7.00pm AEDT.

Sunday 29th March at 7:00 pm (90 minutes)
The epic untold story of Ben Cousins - the footy god and hero to fans across the country whose life went dramatically off the rails. Now he comes clean and nothing is off limits.

A complex character. On one hand he took his life from the penthouse to the ****ehouse .

Yet while he was at at Richmond he was a terrific support to a young man of my acquaintance who was suffering from severe mental problems

My Foxtel TV guide says your are correct. Interesting that Channel 7's own social media got it wrong.

Even the good of heart,  can go the wrong way in they're own life.

I am sure he is a good person.  simply struggling.

Same could be said of Gablett snr.

That's fantastic to hear BBO. Watching the show now. The show itself is all over the place (not Ben's fault) with no real narrative arc.....imo

Really?   (re Ablett)  I doubt that Alisha Horan's parents would agree with you.

Alicia Horan's parents would beg to differ.

GAS should feel ashamed for the rest of his life

Edit. Beat me to it bingers

When will we get a doco on Wattsy coming clean on his addiction to mammary glands and swimming?

What wrong with that?!!!

I've written this before, how when I stayed at a motel in Mudgee I chatted with the manager. He was a W.A. lad, organising a local rugby match. I said, A W.A boy promoting rubgy. He replied, When in Mudgee you do Mudgee. He then said, Don't you worry, I'm an AFL man. My brother played full back in the first WA Premiership side. It was February, 2018, around the time Essendon was in the news. I mentioned it. He replied, Essendon got sprung. All clubs have a drug culture. He said it was rife at West Coast from Day one. He made mention of a certain player who apparently played in the side as well. He's still involved in the game at a high level, at, shall we say, a certain other club...

Winning masks or makes a lot of bad stuff go away.  The Club severely failed with a group of young men.

And so did the AFL itself.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
