The Injury List makes a comeback

Courtesy of today's Australian, this is our official injury list. A little birdie tells me that it's not accurate and at least one player who is due back about round 2 is probably not going to be back for at least a month beyond that and then it will be at least a couple of weeks at Sandy. FWIW, the injury list (sponsored by the 426 Corporation, makers of the world's finest prosthetics):-

Clint Bartram (ankle) 2-3 weeks

Jace Bode (back) 2 - 3 weeks

Ben Holland (hip) test

Travis Johnstone (foot) test

Brock McLean (thigh) 1 week

Nick Smith (amnesia) 4 - 6 weeks

Colin Sylvia (groin) 2 -3 weeks

Matthew Warnock (ankle) 2-3 weeks

I'm very worried about Brock. If we are going to do anything this year we need him to play as many games as possible. I very much hoping he isn't injury prone throughout his career. He may well be the best midfielder we've had in many a year. Sylvia's constant injury concerns are also a big problem.

I know it's not but I'm still worried. With him we finish 3-6, if he misses long parts of the season we finish anywhere between 6th and 12th. He is our most important player imo.

My oversight. I don't expect to see Col in the short term future unfortunately so he'd skipped my memory bank. So Col is medium term(?) but at least with Clint his progress can be judged a lot more precisely.
