Thanks for the heads up, I’ll get onto the Department of Child Protection and let them know.

Can we put him in the f50 to kick a few.

I swear I thought I heard somewhere that despite him having played more games for Freo by the end he considers himself closer aligned to the Dees.

If his son is a gun in the making hopefully the likes of Neita, Schwartz and co will get in his ear to pry him away from Perth.

Wiz is a Melbourne fan- there was some great footage of him celebrating in the stands after a finals win last year.

His son however, being born and raised in WA, may feel his allegiance lies elsewhere.

Really?

Not so sure about that. Did you see the footage of his interview for Freo's team of the past 25 years (or whatever it was). He was crying and saying how much he loved Freo FC. Looked pretty convincing to me.

It seems like he has a bit of love for both teams:

"I got pretty excited when the final siren went, and I was right in the thick of it with the supporters," Farmer told AFL.com.au.

"I certainly celebrated, I was very proud of the effort and the way they went about the game.

"I'm no different to anyone else, I love the Melbourne Football Club like all the other supporters, I certainly enjoyed the night and certainly celebrated with everyone else as well.”

His son Koby will be a Docker if he's good enough for AFL. He was born in WA, lives in WA, supports the Dockers, and he's already training with them. Interview with Wiz last month was posted in the Koby thread about it and pretty much snuffed out any hope of him pulling on red and blue.

Regardless, I loved the Wiz and will be happy to see him again!

Loved the Wiz.
He could light us up like no other.
And he loved us.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
