Jesus Oscar pathetically beaten by a rookie... he is Gawn

Doesn't look like his 3 week stint in the gym has done anything . Still outmuscled by small players

The issue with Casey is the actual VFL players in Briggs, Stockdale, Tynan are very ordinary players in general.

Wasn't Tynan on our AFL list at one point?

Keilty has lost a lot of confidence after the Gold Coast game

He was playing really strong VFL football at the start of the year too

Footys hard boys but I’m glad he at least got to play in 2 AFL wins

out for blood @dazzledavey36?

Nah.

The guy deliberately goes out and trolls and pots all of our first year rookies. Like a few on here, never adds anything relatively positive.

Well done Bradke, that was a great mark overhead among Bulldog players and a composed goal. Future AFL material.

Can we just switch off any cencorship and watch DD go to town on [censored] for the remainder of the game?

Baker looks a class too good for this level.

JKH on the other hand has given his critics plenty of ammunition. That early miss, and then the refusal to have a crack and attempt a pass instead both costly.

Bradtke a fine mark and shows us how to kick straight as well. Well done.

We need to look  at Lefau..

Raw but shows incredible speed and athleticism.

Kicks for goal like he's already on our list.

Size, speed and class of the dogs is hurting us. There are too many AFL listed players in good form and with serious AFL experience against a Casey side which has 6 players who have played AFL (Oscar, Oskar, Maynard, Corey, JKH, Keilty). It does not scream experienced.

Oskar has been really good. He has looked like an AFL player in a VFL side. His run has been important and would be useful in the AFL side today. Looks like he could come in next week really easily. Best on for us by a mile now. The one twos he does are something that we dont have a lot of in our team other than maybe Salem.

Jordan has been quiet on the disposal count in the last 2 quarters but he has had 9 tackles and his pressure acts around the ball will be quite high (not available on the app). I'd expect him to have a debut against the Swans or North in the final 2 rounds to see how he goes. Considering he is the youngest on our list - really good prospect. A little like Baker last year, you could see that it was there even though there were quiet games.

Wagner - Does what he does. He is a very good footballer, and worth keeping around for another year and see what he can do for us. He is quick, can kick, and is smart.

Bradke - Did nothing until a good mark in the final few minutes of the quarter. Such and nice mark and kick (goal) but he is a giraffe. Hopefully will develop over the next 3 years.

JKH - I am feeling like he isn't having the impact that he should be. I assume tagged as he has had a lot of attention off the ball.

Maynard - tagging job on Wallis and done a good job (9 touches) but Wallis has got forward and kicked 2 goals.

McDonald - depending on how you see McDonald is how you see his game. You can focus on how he has lost a couple of contests badly, you can talk about how he is coaching out there, you can talk about him (or Hutchins) getting in each other's way, or you can talk about his clean disposal. Feels weeks away.

Chandler and Bedford are the same person. They tackle and are never in positions to kick goals as they play too far up the ground.

Yep? It's a pity he didn't progress. Confidence is probably the biggest overlooked factor.

i have been saying that when you get no consideration from the umpires and when the action you take is penalised or not rewarded by the umpires confidence is eroded.

its the coaches job to recognise that confidence factor and take action.

We we need to speak with the umpires body and find out what is wrong with our techniques.

Hope you can help him get his confidence back and show us how good he could really be.

c magner reminds of Col sylvia when he burst thru and goaled ,jkh is never going to play afl again or omc

We are bad enough in our own efforts that we do not need the umpires ignoring our free kicks and playing the same offence against us.

To be still in it at3/4 is amazing. First goal crucial.

 Commentator.

Big call. Instead of a free kick going forward it goes the other way and a goal"

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
