Thanks for these DL. Just great. I just had to catch a bus and was able to listen to Jones and viney. Couldn't find it on the new annoying Sen app.

Was just looking for the goody interview. Not yet up on Sen.

A terrific addition to the site in the last little while.mseans you can listen to dl radio!

Thought TMac was really good. Feel more positive after listening to that. Very cool.

The Goody interview is in the post above yours.

Yep I saw it. Part of my point. I didn't make that clear obviously.

Listening to tmac now.

I like how you can go back when you vague out of get distracted

I like also that you can find and control the clip inside dl. I often have multiple tabs open on my phone and when listening to a clip on a radio site it is really easy to find it again to pause, go back etc.

By the glad is a super impressive interviewee.

Also listened to Christian Salem on SEN and it was a pretty vanilla interview but he did single out Fritsch as having a great preseason- if he goes to another level it will be fantastic for our season. Also there were great raps on KK - can’t wait for him to get on the park.

Good Lord I stuffed this communication up. What I meant was I like being able to pause and go back on clips.

Did you manage to get the Gary Pert interview this morning @Demonland  ? It was very inspiring and he talked mainly about Melbourne lacking a home and being the only club in the AFL with that issue. He said it was one of his main focuses. He had spoken to all the relevant parties inc City of Yarra and the MCG. He went on to say that Melbournes home was traditionally the MCG and how we would train 3 nights a week there. He said the offices there were all over the place and there was no central focus point where the supporters could meet.

If he could solve that one it would be amazing. The more i hear this guy the more i like him.

Was he on SEN?

Not too hard to articulate the problem, history shows how difficult it’s been to actually solve. I had some dealings with Pert at the Pies, he can spin a good story. I’ll hold my praise until he delivers the solution.

How good was Tom McD's explanation of the difference between forwards and defenders

No Clint, but he is #1 in the club for pressure acts. So I expect he signed up 1,500 members in a half hour burst.

Listened to Tommy Mac while in the car this afternoon. Always impressed by how well spoken he is. Actually thinks through his answers and no ums and ahs at all. Serious individual. Well done!

To be fair he was spot on! Had the pitch sorted out and knew what to say - it’s gonna be a good year lads!

Listened to all interviews Pert was again clear and visioned for the future on the admin training social complex.

He realises his role in that he has been chosen to lead and deliver as his mission for the Club and he has a great sense of our history and what a legacy it will leave us.

Yarra Park now looks way off but dont rule it out but whatever and whenever in the next half decade in our immediate window of opportunity I have no doubt we will be able to charge our glasses in a social location of our own.

Is it any  wonder his Experience with the Pies leads him to state that the Facility will be achieved, along by that time 70,000 members will also.

He can't absolutely guarantee delivery of that long awaited 13th flag and that will be The real legacy of Jackson Roos and Goodwin.

Its obvious he was the perfect CEO for us and despite the mischief and some blame that the Woods created about him he had run his race there.

We also are now moving in to an era that we have committed concerned and extra passionate old and new fans ready for the spoils hopefully achieved that since 2014 have most meticulously been planned.

Obviously the obviousness of obvious things are obvious

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
