Terrific game:  20 poss @ 7% eff, 9 marks, 8 rebound 50's and plenty of pressure with 3 tackles and 6 1%.

Plays a similar rebound role to Hibberd and while it is early days he seems the one most likely to understudy and eventually, to replace Hibberd.

In the meantime, he is a very handy back up for when Hibberd or Jetta are unavailable.

Hore can absolutely be the new Hibberd when that time eventuates.

Looks ready made. Looked a little lost previous games but showed a lot last night. Doesn’t blink and back his judgement to good effect.

My thoughts exactly. Whilst not as hard hitting as hibbo, does have the run and carry and is better aerially. I’d be happy for hibbo to rest for a week or two to get his fitness back and allow hore to establish himself further in the role.

looks a natural footballer to me and I see a lot of potential in him. thought against Port he had good awareness despite being a bit off the higher pace.

looks a good footballer and was easily our most assured backman last night.

Given Werridee's comment on Hore last week in his VFL game summary that "HORE - Worst player in the league" - and he was referring to  the VFL league - I felt i must be watching a different player last night, but he really stood up and played an impressive game.

To be kind, perhaps Werridee got his players mixed up last weekend.

More likely explanation is that it was just a rubbish post.

Hore was pretty ordinary against Box Hill. So i am very impressed he turned it around against Sydney. I thought when he was named to replace Jetta last night i was bloody worried.. but i knew at the same time we had no one else.

Must back up that performance for next week.

Dont take notice of Werridee, the bloke is clueless. He thought after that game that Petty was a complete dud and wont make it at AFL level.

So glad he played a good game. Was worried by his form at the start of the football year, but perhaps that was because the whole team was 'off'. Spoke to him at the family day. Very nice young man. Hope he keeps improving and enjoys a good career at Melbourne.
