After training today, expect JKH to play, and Hannan to be out injured.

Bugg to be emergency.

Hannan with injured group.

Can you elaborate? Was he injured from the start of the session or did something happen?  Is it possible that he is being managed like gawn was the week before? Any additional info would be greatly appreciated. Provided a lot last week. JKH has proven he cannot stand up to the pressure of AFL football. He drops the easiest marks and cannot finish inside 50. Bugg worth a try. He holds his marks at least.

At the airport feeling a bit crusty after Friday arvo work drinks turned into a bender at the local watching some classy girls jelly wrestling.

I’m not as pumped as last week but still can’t wait to see the boys at the G.

That's a bit of a bomb to drop without anything else to give, what do you think he injured? Was he visibly in pain or simply leave the track early?

I thought JKH was unlucky to be dropped.

Or was he injured?

He was with the rehab group

Decided to catch the red eye flight out of Perth tonight in order to get back for tomorrow. Don't let me down redlegs. ??

True,  but if he misses tomorrow he should be fresh as a daisy for the Elimination Final.

He was great vs West Coke.

No, JFK was dropped after the Sydney game because he’s not good enough.

He lacks composure (see the miss late in the Geelong game), can’t take a mark when there’s inferred pressure and doesn’t have any point of difference as an AFL player.

Hannan out today would be disappointing, however I can’t recall him playing back to back good games, particularly this year.

So is Hannan In or not???

JKH should stay in the 2s and never to return, would rather see Bugg come in.

You clearly recall a different Bugg to any that has played league football. Goes hard but limited in everything else.

We won’t know until this afternoon.

There’s only been speculation so far, which appears to be based on “trained with the injured group”, which has plenty of other explanations that don’t involve missing this game.

Two emergencies held over sounds like late change.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
