Gus is going to get a hard tag this week and have a guess who it is from.... number 41 for those playing at home.

Can anyone explain what has happened with Hulett?  Last year I recall punters on this forum thinking he was almost good for a debut in the AFL, but seems to have vanished out of calculations this year.

His form hasn't been up to scratch this year. It's been a lot tougher for younger players this year compared to last because there aren't that many experienced players to lead and show the way as there were last year.

Could I start the day by welcoming Casey's neighbour Frankston Dolphins back into the fold?

They will resume competition in 2018 and be joined by North Melbourne which has severed ties with Werribee and field a stand alone VFL team.

Hey KC, see if you can find Barry From Beech Road down there.

Did the same sort of thing for us when MFC were with Sandy as you do now.

If you see him buy him a beer, he loves one!?

Hi VP. Barry is my old man and he, together with a few old codgers who used to frequent Beach Road Oval, taught me everything I know.

Unfortunately, although he used to enjoy the odd drink (and there was always a plentiful supply flowing from the social club) his medical condition makes drinking even more hazardous for him than back in the day.

He and my mum, Mavis, reconciled a few years ago (after the accident he had with the lawn mower) and they upped stumps and retired to the Gold Coast where they live in a nice aged care facility not far from the Yatala prison where mum can visit her brothers.

The ground here has lots of memories but it's not like it was in the old days.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. I apologize for skipping our annual season review show at the end of last season. After a disapponting season filled with off-field antics and a heated trade week, I needed a break. Thankfully, the offseason has recharged me, and I’m back—ready t
