GAMEDAY - Round 15

Featured Replies

Our disposal is letting us down so badly. Sydney not taking their chances either.

Whites kicking is trash

White and Wagner cannot hit targets.

terrible ins so far.

We are getting smashed all over the ground. Should be 8 goals down by now.

So much dumb handballing. Let's just wait until they have flooded back. So so dumb.

Totally agree, were actually playing well just giving it up too easy. Will get that under control at quarter time.

Comment of the night so far from @Gorgoroth - 'welcome back to 2013 footy'.  Seriously.  I thought he was a half decent poster who wasn't prone to silly posts like that.

Where is my award? :)

seriously tho. Those first 10 minutes were as bad as I've seen in a long long time.

True, but that was right over the top.  We're possibly about to kick our third, mark of a good side to weather the storm and respond.

High then was absolute BS!

Hunty!!

Sorry guys but White has been very good so far. As for the seven straight points BAD KICKING IS BAD FOOTY.

This is the kind of 1st quarter that a very very good side plays when they're just a touch off it. To be leading by 11 after everything Sydney's thrown at us is impressive.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
