This! What is up with this!? They yell ball every time it even looks like a tackle. Bizarre!

Only "outdone" by the filth last Monday. And I thought the Saint fans were bad. Collingwood fans took it to a VERY low level. Were calling ball sometimes before the tackle. Watch the replay and you will see what I mean.

Hahahahaha!!! That was very quick, and very apt. Not sure how many will get it or find the reference, but spot on. Not sure whether to shout you a nice Heathcote Shiraz or a communion wine.

Shiraz....,the Shiraz ;)

This 24 point betting thing is making me a thousandaire.

Suns are rubbish.

Bolton has given the Blues something. Unfortunately.

He doesn't duck but he absolutely draws the free - presumably Selwood was his hero growing up

While he doesn't 'duck' per se, every time he takes possession he kneels down. It's absurd that he receives multiple free kicks every week for it.  Got two or three against us last year and our guys really got stuck into him for it.

Its difficult to see in live action as everyone's watching the ball, but clear as day on the replay.

it's still a free kick.

bolton is moulding something pretty good at the blues, i think. unfortunately.

Don't think it is when you intentionally drop to your knees... thought that was one of the rules they've 'tweaked'.

he doesn't drop his knees; he keeps his centre of gravity low and it's beholden upon the tackler not to clock him above the shoulders - he makes it very hard

Edited by DemonAndrew

Keeps his upper body straight so it doesn't look like he's ducking, and then literally kneels down.  Sicily does the same 'trick'.

Clayton's ducking !!

Nothing at all in the Franklin report

Nothing much in the bump but the follow up open palm jolt to Rance? that followed looked very Hogan like to me. At least I think I  saw that in the replays.

Liam Jones must be in AA contention by now.

Contention... he's captain going by the commentary on him.

Barlow is tough as [censored]. That was horrible. Didn't even flinch.

Rance just flopped, hit him in the chest from what I saw

Carlton are only one game behind us .... kind of scary

Lose the next couple and we could be hurtling down the ladder (O hell MFCSS strikes again)

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
