Backline disposal and clearances killing us.

(Oh but it's all Dawes fault apparently)

It's not all Dawes fault, but he is useless, a liabilty, a potato

Why? Apart from the one turnover today. What about Hogan's turnover, Bernie's, OMac's fumble, TMac's terrible kicks... They all have resulted in opposition goals, but it's not as trendy to bag them.

Hogan has 3 goals Stuie, It would take Dawes about 10 games to get 3 goals, He is one of the most ineffective forwards i have ever seen, 50 games and he does not even average a goal a game. He makes Brad Miller look like Wayne Carey

You're living in the 90s mate.

Dawes has never been a big goal kicker. Send an email to Roosy about his role if you like.

Only on Demonland do people use every second post to bag a forward when we're getting beaten due to clearances, midfield handballs and backline disposal.

In 20 minutes,we had 5 goals kick on us in 9 minutes, and then 11 minutes of fantastic defensive pressure

Not stopping Hogan, Watts or Garlett having an impact. Poor call. Every major involvement Dawes has had resulted in a negative outcome.

Dawes is responsible for clearances? For disposal out of the backline? For everyone over handballing?

Righto...

He is not a goal kicker at best he is a defensive forward who isn't a reliable mark. I wasn't keen when it was muted that we were after him I'd rather play Hullet/The Weed.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
