Jack Viney on FS tonight

This is the funniest Footy Show I have seen for some time... and most of the fun has been generated by our Jack! I'm pretty sure that he will become a regular. His comments about Tod's view of young Jack being named as a sex symbol were hilarious and his snippet on sex after a game was, well.. boom boom! Either he has an exceptional writer or he is a natural!

Really? I've been watching for a while and Jack has barely uttered a word, only because Newman and his enormous noggin are dominating the cameras as usual.

Also, I think the pink hats for this weeks game are a crock of [censored]. Why is the Red Energy logo about twice as big as the logo for the breast cancer foundation? Ridiculous.

Ok Django... so you're calling me out! I didn't say Jack was getting as much exposure as Sam... and you obviously missed the segments I referred to. Keep my comments in context... I was giving Jack the thumbs up as a guest. Think about the guest's role on the FS. and while I'm on those two letters, FOR F S, ALLOW YOURSELF TO READ SOMEONE ELSE'S POST WITHOUT FEELING COMPELLED TO MAKE AN ILL-INFORMED CORRECTION!

I saw it & JV was pretty good.  Also Nate Jones & Jack Watts were on "That's Good for Footy" tonight.

Sadly all this means that JV (and possibly the others) will play like crap this weekend probably due to being so distracted by being on the footy show. It always seems to happen.

Jack's performance throughout the introduction to the panel was an insight into this young, emerging MFC leader. I saw a side of his personality and skill set that belied the 'bull at the gate' impression he creates on the field. His performance gives me great confidence in the future at MFC if he becomes Captain when Jonesy hangs up the boots!

Lol. I wasn't calling you out wayne. I just mentioned that I'd been watching for a while and Jack hadn't said anything for the duration of my viewing. Just giving you my experience of watching the footy show tonight, which I couldn't do for more than 40 minutes anyway. But feel free to release some frustration!

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
