Oh yeah, I am really upset we are not getting Jake effing Carlisle...

And how would you feel about it if he nominated MFC?

The only way to fix this is to lengthen the first contract to 3 years. That at least gives clubs a chance to manage these players around homesickness and getting them accustomed to the clubs environment and culture.

Aish however is a different animal altogether. A South Australian boy who wants to leave Queensland for Victoria and specifically nominates Collingwood as his preferred club.

Something still isn't quite right at the Lions. Maybe Leppa himself will be the next to leave...

I think Leppa has Lethals seal of approval so may not be going anywhere soon...just mho.

But as to it all not being happy families in Lionsville id have to agree.

Still much angst it seems....hmmm

Isn't that the journo who got locked up in Egypt?

Geter Preste.

Saints can't afford top shelf...its NQR for them !!!

Then again we did stop by Chemist Warehouse...

Lethal will soon lose the support of members of the losses keep mounting and the players keep leaving.

Stuff 'em. Three flags a little over a decade ago should still be enough to survive on.

I love Brisbane's stance re. Aish. Yeah so they're probably going to lose out on a second round pick but the message it sends is very strong. [censored] Aish and [censored] these other kids 'nominating' clubs after 2 years. Hope he goes to Carlton.

Would honestly really want to keep pick 6. Get someone really solid with the high 2nd Rounder we get from Suns for Howe (22). Melksham is not that guy. Redden? Lennon?

Maybe add a pick 61 to Howe bundle and try to snag their pick 19, so we can get one of those 2

Please elaborate...

So have we got the Wines for Toumpas deal over the line yet?

FMD, it's taking forever.

can't imagine lethal losing out on a player he aims for. if he wants em, he'll get em. more likely some don't measure up to what he likes, as finals type footballer characters.

While I'd love to have a huge surprise I'm struggling to see us do anymore than last trade season.

A combo of Melksham/Bugg/Kennedy in line with last years Lamumba/Frost/Jeffy trades, and hope for another hidden gem of Vandenberg type. P6 taken to the draft and hope petracca comes out with similar flair to Hogan.

Anything else appears fairytale and changes week to week anyway... Prestia to Danger to Hartlett and gosh knows who else.

Fingers crossed but im satisfied with the above, not amazing but would say it's enough

Edit: forgot Garlett

My sources tell me we're waiting for Port to chuck in Wingard as steak knives.

Anyone recognize the back of that head? :)

was a 5 second bit....

Demon met with Gold Coast who are believed to be leading the race for Jeremy Howe - end news bit...

Thats Todd Viney meeting with Gold Coast officials in regards to Howe

... or Prestia.

What a scoop! Glad I tuned in

Dam I thought we were after some target, Its just the guy from gold coast talking about Howe apparently. Maybe we are trying to trade him instead of wanting to keep him. Interesting.

Or BOTH! Let's speculate in Demonland fashion dazzle....

Howe, Terlich, M. Jones and our 4th rounder for Prestia, Tom Lynch, O'Meara, Ablett and Swallow.

I think we're paying overs but that's life.

and he averages <10 disposals with 5+ marks, which means apart from the big grabs he doesn't do much else for the rest of the game

i do like his marking though and his goalkick in 2015 was running at 67% (24:12)

Hogan averages a grand total of 4 more possessions a game, yet i don't hear you complaining about his lack of the ball?

First year player, great football IQ, plays at FF not in the ruck....already one of the better KPF's in the game heading toward being an absolute champion..

Yep, I can see the similarities.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
