Or Henry Coles and big Carl

never play a game binman. god they would do some damage in between suspensions.

or gary lyon and ross dillon

you'd get ross lyon...............oh, on second thoughts, scratch that idea

Great, another Cameron Bruce thread.

The good old days when our biggest problem was Bruce being soft and missing targets, and us missing out on finals every 2nd season.

I don't give a stuff about his skills - I loved Cameron Bruce. Sensational player in his prime.

I concur 100%, what we would give for a player of his calibre now.

Dyson Heppell and Dean Cox - you would have Dyson Cox and that's gotta hurt.

( I am sensing a major derailment chock full of fun !)

i want watts to go on the nat fyfe diet/weights/heart regime

Both were the scapegoats on this forum. Bruce for his disposal despite his gut running and high possession count and Watts for his lack of gut running despite his sublime skills.

How would a combination of the two go? Imagine if Jack could start winning the ball like Bruce did. He would be an absolute gun. Here's hoping!

Who's head would you use and what about the torso? It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.

Answer my question Clint. What do you think?

I think we should be looking for a Clint Bartram / Travis Johnstone combo.

How about combining Brad Miller and Russel Robertson?

Bringing together David Schwartz and David Schwartz's knee ligaments would be pretty awesome.

But the ultimate combination, without doubt, would be Liam Jurrah + Shane Woewodin + Matthew Whelan.

There, the matter is settled. Close thread.

What a odd threaD...but then it doesn't mention Bruce and Watts? Is that pre or post Guerra CB ? I wonder.

Still in a way poignant.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
