why did you ignore my additions

nobody kicking a bag of 6 for 157 games straight is as big as any of them

says everything really

Really? I don't think it matters. We've had a few 5-goal bags.

Not on the list but the win on Sunday was our second in the last eleven matches versus the Bulldogs going back to March 2008.

I'm with Qwerty 30, ...Last Won a GF...

I like that I feel all of these records can fall within 18 months with Roos in Charge.

And who can forget that second 90+ point belting in a row! The beginning of the end.

I'd like to add a record that I'd like to see broken.

Last time our leading goal kicker had 50+ goals was Brad Green in 2010. Since then we've had:

2011: Jurrah (40)

2012: Clark (29) (after 11 games)

2013: Howe (28)

2014: Dawes (20)

A slow decline, but obviously it is being turned around with Garlett and Hogan.

If Jesse plays every game at 2.6 per game he will hit that 50, which would be a magic feat for a first year player in a below average side

He'll need us to slaughter a couple of sides so he can get a couple of bags

I would like to see us beat north.

Anywhere any time.

Updated "Win 2 games in a row". Added games lost: after today's loss, 0-16 in games after we've won.

Yeah that will happen when hell freezes over

Refreshed "Beat Collingwood" stat.

If we can't knock out "Win at Etihad" and "Beat St. Kilda" this weekend, I might just give up on this club.

two in the one weekend praha.

Injuries could easily determine this result

Could have buried 2 hoodoos tonight but failed once again

Just like we will fail next week to break 2 more

got another one for you:

last time someone kicked a bag of 5 or more

rd 20, 2012 (sam blease, 5 goals vs st kilda at the MCG)

57 game streak

Well at least Hogan broke this one today

Can't even defend a lead for forty bloody seconds - man up and stack the back line ......bloody hell it is just so sad that ........ what can one say??????

We will break some of them in 2017 when we have a Coach

Not even I can agree with that one budge.

The problem is not the coach.

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
