Melbourne v Western Bulldogs @ Eureka Stadium Ballarat - 14th March, 2015

Typical Melbourne just not interested anymore - will be livid if we lose this

This team sucks ........

Now sounds like we have left the field, can somebody confirm we are still out there?

Why don't you ask one of the players.

I know it's only NAB cup but I hope Roos losses it at the Dees at the end of this game.

52 up at one stage.

Lucky to win 5 games this year.

We are the best team in the entire league at making a victory as hard for ourselves as humanly possible.

Wow. A gutless effort reminiscent of years past. Very sad.

Please tell me Matt Jones and Jordie McKenzie aren't contracted past 2015

McKenzie, what a star.

He should be given a role in the next star wars movie as a storm trooper.

And the smartest [censored] kick in 2 quarters of football comes from MCKENZIE of all players.

Staggering, a player kicking it long to our attack so it goes out of bounds in our I50. A foreign concept to our players, apparently.

For all the good in the first half it has been undone in this second half...

Please tell me Matt Jones and Jordie McKenzie aren't contracted past 2015

Matt Jones has 2 years left HH, god knows why, absolute hack

2nd quarter last week, the 2nd half this week... we are incapable of playing consistent football.

I really thought we'd have left that in the past after this pre-season.

out of jail free card used just now

just warched the last bullies goal ,we are clueless

its getting worse

We will get flogged by Gold Coast in round 1

Oh my god, just [censored] off. Just [censored] off.

Seriously umpire? [censored] me dead.

Gone to [censored] under a bit of pressure

Really really bad signs

very disapointing, this is terrible

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
