Sorry, just going by what it said there in the article, how do you know that what it was, i could not any info other than "foot"?

I think people are underestimating both his talent and determination. Maybe it's pie in the sky but I think we have not seen the last of Jack and I hope the club sticks by him.

It was widely reported at the time and a comparison was made with Matthew Richardson who had the same injury.

There is a wide range of severity of the Lisfranc some heal OK but others can be career ending. It seems Clark has recovered from his.

The problem with Trengoves navicular is that it had to be bone grafted and that takes a long time to reach full strength. The immobility required causes dramatic muscle wasting which will take a lot of rehab once weight bearing is possible. They are now using bone morphogenetic protein which is like a natural superglue to aid the strength of the graft so a good long term result should be possible as long as it is not rushed - and I'm sure it won't. The surgeons that do this are not going to risk a bad result.

That's why I firmly believe Jack has a good long term future and at 24 shouldn't be written off.

Well chook what is your best guess will he be back in full training in 2015?

yes but I don't see any virtue in him playing this year.

That makes at least two of us. it seems to me that 2015 was a write off four months ago.

If he was to start pre season training in November I would be happy.

Different values yes, you know Trenners is as loyal as they come.

Pretty sure Clark did his navicular too, it was the sof tissue injuries that "flared" his depression.

Clark did the Lisfranc not Navicular.

I may be wrong but didn't Matthew Richardson have a Navicular injury. One of a few to make a comeback.

Let's not also forget Melbourne was on the front foot to trade him 4 months ago.

It wasn't D'Land who was trading him.
