Thought I would get in first. Was just announced he wants a trade from Geelong. It looks like Roos isn't so midfield focused this time around but might be worth a look considering how thing for tales nt we are.

It's been announced that he is headed to Queensland so I suppose that rules us out.

Wants to head up north... but gee whiz, he'd be an amazing catch. We can lure him north, just a few thousand less kilometres north. ;)

Pick 3 for Christensen & Pick 16?

F*** no.

Not even as a delisted FA.

Has serious issues. Ticking timebomb.

What issues?

Off-field issues.

Admittedly first I'd heard of them.

Hasn't stopped us getting Garlett with a court case looming.

Straight swap for Clark?

It's interesting visiting the Geelong forum on BF and reading them whine about being bent over on the trade table. That they won't get full value because he's had recent surgeries, wants to leave and "has issues". That they'll get low-balled.

Sound familiar Cats ?

No. But I'd say worse than Garlett.

That's all subjective though.

Great. So you won't mind if we don't take what you're saying as gospel?

Elaborate?

Purely speculation, but leading into finals he was in great knick, I'd know I had in my supercoach team.

One week out from finals he was training full flight on the Wednesday, and by Friday he's had another surgery on his back..

I'm going the early crow and saying I think he got done for the three strikes drug policy. It's rife down in Geelong, and the AFL may even involve itself and say if you want to get back playing football, you need to remove yourself from your current environment.

Again, this is purely speculative, but I find the situation very intriguing.

I like this song, and Christensen likes the topic of the song.

Rife down in Geelong you say?

Well, that explains a few things.

Does that mean Mitch will feel right at home!

I was going to go there but I knew everyone was already thinking it.

'Machsy' has been on the money with the Geelong stuff so take it or leave it but it is interesting that on SEN they said he wanted to get away and needed a new start for personal reasons.

Last time I looked Melbourne wasn't in Qld so I think we can count him out there. If they get a good pick for him it should strengthen our position with Clark.

Free Agency is available to all it seems. Why wait 8 years!!

Just tell your club "i want to leave" and 99/100 it is arranged.

As this one happened so quick i wouldn't be suprised if 3 strikes were involved.

The [censored] Cats wanted him around

i question if it is 3 strikes (see below)

=====================================================================================================

HOW IT WORKS

AFL medical directors and clubs’ doctors informed of positive test on first and second strikes.

Players are quarantined from reportable tests after second strike until doctor in charge of treatment decides therapy has been completed. Player then becomes open to a third strike.

Club management, public, informed only after the third strike.

THE PENALTIES

Third strike $5000 fine and a suspension of up to 18 matches.

Suspended player continues to receive treatment and counselling.

^^^ you may be right dc, but it also may be that the AFL don't want any more drug scandal headlines right now.

The Cats want him. So it must be something serious. They would have gone hard for Greenwood otherwise.

This was not in their plans.......

Cool :)

Not at all.

I'd say even if I've been proven correct in the past, anything I say in future should be taken with a grain of salt.

My sources may not always be as reliable as I'd hope.

I've born witness to one widely revered demonland "Nostradamus" talking a bit of **** recently.

Not 3 strikes though.

Mitch Clark will fit in just perfectly

I've heard/read he has some debt issues... I also notice he posts/tweets a lot about horse racing & part owns in a few horses. Put 2 & 2 together.
