Speaking to Garry Lyon at a function was saying his hoping the dees take Petracca, stated he would love to see him in the red and blue and that his in the same mould as Ollie. Then spoke about pick 3 (Frawley Comp) will be on traded in a "Tyson like deal" Gaz said Roos wants more ready made mids.

Well there it is. That's the final straw that tells me we shouldn't get Petracca. If Garry says yes then no it is. Garry who picked our last 2 coaches, Garry "Scully is Judd" Lyon.

Gary has no more idea of who the best junior talent in the land is than most on demonland and his track record is in the red to say the least.

Is it just me but the prospect of us drafting Petracca as well as Dangerfield (I know long shot etc...) has me salivating at our prospect for 2015 and beyond.

Two top grade bulls in the centre...

We'd have to at least give 2 for danger, so no petracca and danger dream, sorry

2 & 3 is overs for Danger, exceeds the compo AFC will get in 2015 (pick 8 say) or what every other club could offer. So 3 + player for Danger and pick 2 for Petracca.

BANG we're back!

Man, imagine that. Danger back with vince, jones, cross and tyson - that is a very good midfield basis.

throw in potentially petrecca, viney, salem watts, potentially trenners and toumpas, guys like viv and riley developing could be handy, if not good players at least role players. these guys feeding it into the man child, dawes, peders, kent, howe.

theres a bit to work with there.

Gerard Whately on AFL 360 hinted Saints No 1 pick to go to GWS for an undisclosed player as they want Petracca real bad

Maybe they'll even hold onto one of their players for more than 3 years for once and try to make a team.

Have to say GWS have an... interesting recruitment strategy. Just endlessly taking the top draft picks every year by constantly trading themselves into the high end of the draft by tossing out players like Dom Tyson.

Not sure it'll take them up the ladder very fast, but they've become a treasure trove of talent if you have the picks to trade them.

Probably Jaksch and get GWS pick 4 back.

That gives the Saints the tall and could still get McCartin or Wight.

If you want to have some real dirty thoughts Vibes imagine remarkably:

1. Frawley and Clark stay, play a full year at the previous best

2. We trade pick 2 and a Toump for Danger

3. Trade our third rounder for Labamba (second rounder for Stretch)

4. Pick of Malceski in the PSD

FB Frawley Dunn Nev

HB Malceski McDonald Harry O

C Watts Danger Viney

HF Howe Dawes Salem

FF Hogan Clark JKH

R: Jamar Jones Tyson

pine Trenners, Gawn, Cross, Kent, Grimes, Garland and whoever else I have probably forgot

Now that is touching yourself material!

Seen both brayshaw and petracca play this year (against each other).

Very evenly matched and hard to split as both clearance machines with good skills that go forward and kick goals. I slightly preferred brayshaw with his excellent dual sided disposal myself. Time will tell as to who will be the better player but I do wonder how many on here take Damien Barrett approach of having a preference, despite never seeing either play?

"Wherever I get picked to go I think it's going to be a humbling feeling, and no matter what number you get picked at, you'll be in the same position as everyone. I don't think you should go in there looking to make friends, I think it's about winning the players and coaches over and trying to show them that you want to be there at their club, working really hard and listening to everything you hear and just trying to earn people's respect."

Hope he comes to the Dees.

I'm at the draft camp now having a look and wow Petracca is a unit! Has that big backside big leg look and looks very sharp. I'd put some photos up but feel like a creep taking them

lol. I have a photo of Christian, his friend and my son (2yo) all eating breakfast together at the dinner table with their shirts off (it was summer). He was not a unit 2 years ago, he was skin and bones! How things change.

Now if I posted that, then it would be creepy!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
