Wonder if we ll take a look at Oscar Mcdonald, Toms brother. Could be good to have some siblings in the team.

Interesting article in that it mentions Lucas Cook amongst the goal scores.

Oscar Mcdonald is a rookie chance. I think he will develop like his brother. Similar types.

Hopefully he can kick

Hopefully he can kick

He is rated as a better kick than his brother. Prefers to play forward but can play either end. Competitive kid with a really good head on his shoulders.

Would think that we would be having a good look at Oscar, as we have with all the draft hopefuls. Would be great to see the brothers tear it up for years to come at the Dees.

Biggest issue at the moment is that he will need around 10kgs to mix it with hulking forwards of AFL. Will spend the first year in the VFL if selected until he builds on the muscle.

does anyone thin we are actually a legitimate shot to get Jeremy Cameron or that hes possibly already agreed to a deal with us?

I know we all want it to be true and that his season ending injury helps to fuel the rumours as does the fact we have a shitload of salary cap $$$ to play with, but what are the chances realistically

with Judd possibly retiring, Cameron would be chased by many clubs, including the blues. And I have the feeling that MnM is pushing Judd out. MnM is trying to stamp his own image over that club.

Cameron would be high on his list.

will they gazump us again?

After watching the crap we served up yesterday I am hoping we now get Ryan O Keefe

He will be an upgrade on at least 20 of the spuds on our list even if he is almost 34

Hope we get Malceski more though, but would love both

He's still twice the player watts is on his better days.

I remember thinking O'Keefe was the best player in the competition. Guys I seriously reckon he can do a Boomer Harvey. I've heard he lives an extremely healthy lifestyle and is determined to keep playing AFL. Maybe we could get 3 good years off him despite him turning 34 next year.

Hopefully, we have Salem, Toumpas and Trengrove coming back with another pre-season under Roos and committed to proving to Demonlanders why they were all top ten draft picks! (Maybe also Watts with something to prove?)

Really excited about Salem, he's really shown how smart he is. Far less excited about Toumpas and Tregrove. Wouldn't be sad if they were traded.

Yeah don't hold your breath for 3 years on that one.

If Oscar Mac can play both back and forward, kick better then Tmac and has a similair tank then he would definetely be worth adding to the rookie list.

Spoke to Salem's brother the other day. Asked him if he still barracks for Essendon, he said the whole family are Dees supporters now.

We should get a couple good years, O'Keefe isn't even nearly done.

He'll help our kids. Hopefully we land him, does the 1% plays.

I would be very surprised if Roos goes after anybody over 30 this year, he still has Cross and Vince, we need guys in their early 20's to grow for 2 years under Roos

I'd be keen to get Jake Best from the scorpions into the club with a late or rookie pick.

He always seems to be one of the scorpions better performers and knows how to kick a goal.

I was hoping we picked him up last year.

On the flip side of that we still need an extra player or two around that range who can work with Cross and Vince to model the right training habits, work ethic on the field and to impart some knowledge on them as well. Sounds a bit cliche but we still lack those types of players at the minute. We would need to be very strategic about who it is we might get and how we get them but I don't think Roos will totally ignore players around that age range.

At his best, O'Keefe is a level above Cross - who has been one of our better players this year.

Ryan O'Keefe was a level above Vince and probably still is.

He'd be a good pick up.

Again, although I was proved wrong with Cross, why is O'Keefe not getting a game with the Swans, they even brought in Membery? for Franklin at the weekend

I think we are past that, if you listen to Roos' presser this morning, there are players who are not listening, I don't think there is a need for another old wisehead, personally I hope whoever we bring in is under 25

Brett Anderson tweeting the mail is that Malceski to Demons is a near certainty.

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
